When I think about being a CEO and business owner, the people I get to work with are the #1 reason I do what I do. I love seeing our team progress, evolve, and take on new challenges. I love seeing people grow, and I LOVE knowing that their lives are just a little bit better because where they spend 40 hours a week (usually more) does NOT suck!

My motto that we joke about making our tagline is "Creating work that doesn't suck."
A mentor once told me "We work to live, not live to work," and I hold that statement as a guiding principle.

We have a lot of work to do when it comes to #deib. Perhaps as a minority, female business owner I forget that I need policies around this. I've been so turned off by fake DEIB policies that are just lip service, that perhaps I closed my eyes to what value there is in codifying our values in this area. More to come!
